My confession is this: I have never really considered myself a dog person. I'm sure this is a big shock to most of you! =-) Maybe it is the few goldfish and turtles that we had as pets when I was kid that didn't fare too well. Maybe it is because ever since I was a little girl I have been terrified of big dogs. Maybe it is the fact that a puppy pees and poops on things. Maybe there a lot of reasons that I don't consider myself a dog person. BUT, we have our dog Barkley who the kids love and I like him, O.K. Until last night. Milo and the kids went to see our friends dog because they were wanting her to have a new home and they came home with her. So, now we are trying to decide if we are a 2 dog family or not. And, since I've never even considered myself a 1 dog family this might be a BIG stretch. But look at her! Isn't she adorable??!!?
Lexi is in heaven! Finally, a little sister!
Carter and Zoe. Carter has held this dog so much today. He really LOVES her!
They slept together last night and they play so cute together! Zoe has brought out such a funny, playful side of Barkley. It's been really fun!
Zoe is a Yorkie and she is a teacup. She weighs 3 lbs. and Barkley weighs 6.
Her birthday is May 3 and she will be 1!

i think you might actually be a 2 dog family...seeing as how you gave us her stats and everything! sounds like she's in for good :) she is super cute--maybe even cuter than barkley (if i can say that without the kids hating me:) she's just so little!
It seems like you already welcomed her into the family. Plus I know your kids will beg to keep her and you will say yes. She really is cute. Is she wearing clothes in that picture with Carter? That is so funny!
Those are the two cutest dogs I have ever seen. It almost makes me want one. Let me know how it goes. Your kids seems to love them both! Good luck with that decision :)
So, what happened? Are you a 2 dog family or what?
So have you decided? I'm SORT OF regretting getting our new puppy. I forgot how lame house training is. But if Zoe is already house trained, I'd say KEEP HER! She's darling! And it's super fun for our dogs to have each other. They are loving being together now.
How can you resist that darling little yorkie? That's the dog I want when Doug and I settle down but he's trying to convince me we should get a Jack Russle instead. I think you should keep her. She's just so adorable. I hear they might be a little hard to potty train though. Just FYI. Can't wait to see her in a few days. Love you!!!!!
